After a rest day yesterday I was really ready to get back into the gym and sweat it out!
MORNING:
Ride to work
35min run (broken up into 5min run, 1min walk, 10min run, 1min walk, 20min run)
30min bike
15min XT
Physio exercises
Abs & stretch
(I even got to 2min30sec with the wall sit for first time!)
Cals burnt: 1210
EVENING:
10min XT
RPM
Ride home
Cals burnt: 765
TOTAL Cals burnt: 1975cals
I also walked half hour at lunch time but we do that nearly every day so I don't include that in the cals, as I don't wear the HRM but still if I did I would have been up over 2000cals for the day YAY!
I do think that Monday's are really another SSS for me, well sometimes even bigger cos the effort is more high intensity than the endurance stuff on Saturday.
Foodwise, I've got a few different snacks now - rye cruskits, corn thins, oranges, bananas etc. at work so I have them. I did have another diet coke today and although I know its 0cals I don't want to keep going for them. It's really when I'm in a slump and green tea won't do it for me. I just need to keep busy and know that the hunger pains will go away sooner or later, they always do.
I did a little countdown today to our wedding and its now 69days! Doesn't really have any significance cos it still is a lot of time, but the invites are going out this week so it's seeming a lot more real now.
Anyway enough from me, its great hearing from everyone about their great start to the challenge, hope I can keep it up to! Actually, I know I can keep it up...that's the exciting part!
