What a weekend, I'd finally caught up on a bit of sleep (and wasn't so emotionally drained) so I got up and was ready to tackle the gym. It was raining, and had been non-stop for over 24hours so wasn't going to get a long bike ride in, but I wanted to do a big session of cardio today for SSS.
The gym didn't open til 9am so I did a bit at home beforehand...I'm an early riser so a sleep in of 7.45am was good enough for me!
At home BEFORE going into gym I did:
Ergo 10min (2200m)
Walk 5min
Ergo 10min (2200m)
Walk 5min
Ergo 10min (2200m)
Walk 5min & little stretch
Cals burnt: 446
Then I went into the GYM (first in the door as it opened):
20min XT
RPM Class
20min XT
20min Stepper
Cals burnt: 1164
TOTAL CALS BURNT: 1610
Very happy with that SSS!! I got home about 11.30am and was really pleased that I managed to get all of that cardio in. The day was going to be hectic, doing a few things for the wedding and also going shopping for a new bike for our honeymoon in NZ. When commuting at the moment I ride my fiance's bike as I only have a road bike. So for us both to be going to NZ in December I needed a new one...and seeing as thought I will be commuting to work next year as well I'll get plenty of use so we decided we'd lash out and buy a new one instead of just hiring one over in NZ.
Under 5 weeks now til the wedding, I still have a few little things to get done and the next few weekends will be BUSY BUSY so I just need to keep focused on the goal and I'll be there on the day looking and feeling amazing.
