This week I decided I'm going to make the most of the lovely weather this weekend and train both days. So I took yesterday (Friday) as my rest day, then planned big sessions for Sat and Sun.
Today I woke up nice and early, so enjoyed a bit of a lie in before heading off to the gym. From there I went outside for a run and I'm so pleased to say I ran 30min with NO PAIN at all in the hip or shins, so so so so so so so so so happy with that! That's with no breaks at all YAY!!!
After that I did the 1hour cycle class in the gym, then went to pilates after that. It was a great combination actually, the pilates at the end is great for the core but also so good as a stretch and after those two sessions I needed it! YAY!!

It is such nice weather here in Melbourne this weekend, tomorrow morning I'm planning my long bike ride. I hope to get to Frankston and back which will be approx 85km.
I'm feeling great at the moment, and can see the difference in my shape in the mirror - loving it!
Today the plan is to do the grocery shopping for the week, housework, watch a bit of the GF, then into the city tonight for a close friend's first art exhibition. I will not be tempted by the food being offered there, I'll make sure I've had an early dinner or snack beforehand so I don't need to have any there.
