So this morning I had my family visit and stayed at home with them in the morning before work instead of going to the gym. I actually thought of Mich's comment about this week being the best possible version of myself and I wanted to be home with my gorgeous nephews and found that was more important for me than going to the gym for my own benefit. I don't see them much, they live over 4hours away from me and I absolutely LOVED them coming into my bed and lying there with me in the morning, we had breakfast together and then we played a bit of scrabble all before I went to work. It was great!
Got to work and then decided that I would do some exercise and go to RPM in the evening. This was a bit of a decision, as I was teaching the next morning cycle class as well and that would mean I'd done Mon PM, Tue AM, Wed PM, Thu AM either RPM/Cycle. That got me excited and thought "why not challenge myself" so I talked to my friend here at work that I've been encouraging and she's joined the gym, so we went together. I promised myself that I could take it easy so that I was strong for the next morning where I go a LOT harder when instructing.
So off we went, I was tired afterwards and in the evening with heavy legs but I did a tiny bit of stretching at home and slept like a LOG!!
EVENING:
RPM Class
TOTAL Cals burnt: 559
I had a bit of a sore tummy that evening as I haven't had a good toilet stop for several days (too much info?) so that was annoying but I felt great that I was going to achieve this little challenge I set out for myself.
My friend from work is really motivated seeing my results lately with this program and she has also committed to going to the gym every day this week and hopes to get into a routine, I love seeing her enjoy the gym and the feeling of exercise as much as I do! It's such a great feeling.
